Irish Coffee Cake is a Moist and Tender Cake that is served alongside Coffee.
In this recipe, We will make a Fun, Easy & Quick to make Irish Coffee Cake and make it in less than 5 minutes in a cup!!
Fun Fact : A coffee cake might have coffee in it, but the name comes from the fact that it is served with coffee, not because it has coffee in it!!
Ingredients for making Irish Coffee Cake
- Flour - 6 Table Spoon
- Cocoa Powder - 4 Table Spoon
- Sugar - 4 Table Spoon
- Salt - 1/4th teaspoon
- Baking Powder - 1/4th Tea Spoon
- Butter / Oil - 4 Table Spoon
- Vanilla Essence - 1 Tea Spoon
- Egg - 1
- Milk - 4 Table Spoon
- High Octane's Intense Irish Coffee Paste - 2 TableSpoon
- Whiskey (optional) - 2 Table Spoon
Directions to make Irish Coffee Cake
Step 1 : Mix all the Dry ingredients viz Flour, Cocoa Powder, Sugar, Baking Powder and Salt in a mixing bowl
Step 2 : Add in the Butter/ Oil and Vanilla Essence
Step 3 : Break open the egg and mix it into the batter using a fork
Step 4 : Mix in the remaining ingredients viz Milk, High Octane Intense Irish Beaten Coffee and Whiskey into the batter
Step 5 : Line 2 Coffee Mugs with Butter and pour in the batter ( Keep the cups only half full else it will overflow during the baking process)
Step 6 : Microwave both cups for 2 minutes at 900 Watts
Step 7 : Optional - Top with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Sauce / Sprinklers if available!!
